Set between Miami and Key West, this 12-acre Florida Keys resort features a private white-sand beach that stretches 1,000 feet along the Gulf of Mexico. Personal watercraft, kayaks, and other equipment can be rented on the beach. Sport fishing, scuba diving, and snorkeling excursions can be arranged (surcharges). Children ages 3–12 are welcome to participate in scheduled activities (surcharges).
Centrally located on the property are a lagoon-shaped pool and a large lawn area. Butterfly Café offers tropically inspired cuisine and a seasonal beachfront tiki bar serves light fare and tropical drinks.
Spa services are available in guest houses, and a 24-hour fitness center offers cardio machines and free weights.

Each privately owned vacation home at Tranquility Bay Beach House Resort contains two furnished balconies and has views of the lagoon pool or the Gulf of Mexico. All homes have separate living and dining areas and two bathrooms.
Gourmet kitchens with granite countertops include full-sized refrigerators, stoves, microwaves, dishwashers, coffee/tea makers, blenders, toasters, cookware, dishware, and utensils. Each home also has a washer and dryer.
Amenities include 42-inch plasma-screen TVs, 27-inch flat-screen TVs, DVD players, and stereo CD players. HBO and pay movies are provided.
High-speed and wireless Internet access are both complimentary, as are local calls. Homes are cooled by air conditioning and ceiling fans.
